for Sis 2011 - Yin Yang Cake

Sis's cakes: I'm usually in some other part of the world during my Sister's birthdays, but since she's awesome (and sews stuff for me like this amazing coat) I figured I owe her at least one cake a year. and I visit Poland around her Nameday that falls in January... (not that I need any excuse to bake!) anyway, she usually has some cool request to challenge me and since my family loves any kind of cake I don't hesitate to use them as lab rats
2011: that year she simply asked if she can have chocolate cake with lots of lemons in it to balance the sweetness and sourness levels. at that time we were both fascinated by asian cultures, so when I looked at my round cake pan and heard the word 'balance' Yin Yang was the first thing that came to my mind. and I just learned how to make delicious modeling chocolate for decorations
cake: triple chocolate cake base with layers of lemon jam covered in chocolate with fresh lemon slices and modeling chocolate roses
